Our Leadership:

PASTOR JOSH CALABRESE

Joshua was born in Utica, New York, on January 8, 1999. He placed his trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as a 6-year-old boy. Through his pastor’s preaching through the book of Revelation. Following a Sunday evening service, he spoke with his mother and that night trusted Christ as my Savior on his parents’ bedside.

At the age of 11, God began to work in his life, and he surrendered his life to preach. Upon graduating high school, God led him to study at Heartland Baptist Bible College in the fall of 2017, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Theology.

Josh and Kara met while seniors at Heartland and were married upon graduating in August 2021. Upon graduating, God led Joshua to serve under Pastor Paul Gentry at the New Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as the Youth Director/Church planting intern. He served there for 3 and a half years.

During the spring of 2024, he sensed God moving in his life, and during that summer, God showed him the need in Batavia and at Blessed Hope Baptist Church. In August 2024, the Blessed Hope Baptist Church voted to call him as pastor.

Josh and Kara have two children: Elianna and Vincenzo.

They enjoy playing board games, cooking, sports, and music.
